I can’t remember the last time I was hit so intensely by any emotion.

I can’t stop trembling or even think anymore. All my efforts and ability to focus just evaporated completely.

I’m exhausted, but I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep.

I’m so incredibly grateful.

And if this goes the way I’m wishing and hoping and praying it’ll go…I’ll be able to die happy.

I have no reason to complain about anything, ever.

Life is perfect.

Picture with Maroon 5!!!!

Maroon 5 has seriously impressed me. I said several times that they’re one of the few bands I would do this for. I really mean it, and after this experience, I feel that even more strongly.

We were melting in the heat. I’m amazed more people didn’t pass out or vomit (part of it is due to the excellent job Microsoft did with handing out free water to keep everyone hydrated). Still, of course, Maroon 5 came out and performed energetically. We could see them sweating through their shirts.

Adam Levine, unsurprisingly, was the one who drew the most attention. And, yet, even though he knows he’s the face of the group and the most famous member, he made sure to showcase every single member and their individual musical talents. So much respect right there.

Also, I don’t know if they do this all the time, but dedicating She Will Be Loved to all the girls in the crowd was so sweet :)

Then they seemed genuinely appreciative of all their fans. They were so kind and sweet when I met them.

This was really a day that I’ll never, ever forget. Thank you to Microsoft and Maroon 5 for one of the greatest memories ever.
